The U8 Spring Development Academy is ready to provide the Capital Soccer Club training and match day experience to all Central Vermont players born in 2018 and 2019! The Spring Development Academy is the perfect way for U8 players to be introduced to club soccer and grow their love for the game. With a 6-week program built directly from the Capital SC curriculum, players will develop their individual abilities within a team environment that encourages creative play and leadership.

The U8 Spring Development Academy runs for six consecutive weeks, with two 60-minute training sessions per week on Tuesday and Thursday's. Each week concludes with a match day on Saturday mornings, where players get to show off the skills they’ve developed on the training pitch. All players born in 2018 or 2019 are invited to register!

We are excited to announce that this year's academy will include locations in Waterbury and Montpelier, ensuring that more players across Central Vermont can participate. Additionally, the U8 Academy will now feature league play in Central Vermont, providing players with regular, structured competition to further enhance their development and match experience.

Program Schedule

• The 2026 U8 Spring Development Academy will begin Tuesday, April 28th and continue through Saturday, June 6th

• Practices will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 - 5:30 PM

• Saturday morning games will be held starting at 9:00AM

• The U8 Academy will be held at the Ice Center in Waterbury
