About the Club

Capital Soccer Club, Inc., a 501-c-3 organization, represents a culmination of ongoing efforts to improve the level of youth and adult soccer in Vermont. It is directed by Capital Soccer’s Peter Kim and George Cook along with a staff of several of the state’s finest youth coaches. Each year the coaching staff will select Capital Soccer Club’s youth and amateur teams from a series of competitive tryout sessions. Players who are selected for the club will receive advanced training from our professional coaching staff. Meanwhile, staff coaches will work with young coaches who wish to gain valuable coaching experience from our knowledgeable trainers – ensuring consistent quality while providing a low player/coach ratio for maximum attention.

Capital Soccer Club, Inc. will produce several teams for competition in youth and adult premier league and tournament play. The youth teams will compete in state and/or regional leagues, as well as in-state and out-of-state tournaments. The adult teams will play in the new Vermont Amateur Soccer League, with regional and national play based on the team’s success each season.

This new club has already begun to produce high-caliber players, and has sent a number of players to collegiate programs in the Northeast. Capital Soccer Club, Inc. is dedicated to the enthusiastic promotion of soccer, the greatest game in the world. We continue to strive for excellence on and off the field, and actively promote soccer excellence, healthy lifestyles, sportsmanship, and citizenship.

Players who love the Game, and seek a challenging environment in which to hone their abilities are encouraged to try out as candidates for this year’s select teams.

About Premier Level Soccer

The best competition, training, and recognition for players takes place at the premier soccer level. Select teams compete in tournaments, premier leagues, and regional competition with the focus on reaching national play. Such competition regularly draws college and professional recruiters, providing players with the best possible exposure.
